It's Keiki Paddling Time

Attention Parents! Recruitment has begun for our Summer Keiki Outrigger Canoe Paddling program (kids 12 thru 19 yrs). Starting May 21st and ending July 25th, the Summer Keiki Program will hold practice Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on the beach at the end of Spinnaker Drive in Ventura, across from the Channel Islands National Park visitors Center. Summer Keiki Paddling

Hokuloa's Summer Keiki (kid's) Paddling program is right around the corner! The program runs from June 20 through July 23 and focuses on the basic skills of outrigger canoe paddling including boat-handling, steering and rigging plus teamwork and having fun!

2010 Summer Keiki Program

Hokuloa's popular summer keiki (kids) paddling program returns in June. The program runs from 6/22-7/24 and is open to keikis from 12-19 years old. Paddlers will have a great time learning the fundamentals of outrigger canoe paddling and competing in three sprint races. Visit our keiki paddling page for more info.

Keiki Sprint Practices

All keiki paddlers and their parents are requested to attend a team parent meeting scheduled for 5/06/07 AFTER practice.

Keiki Pre-Season Practice

Practice for juniors interested in a seat for the 2007 ironman season will begin on Sunday, March 4th at 9:00 AM. Cardio training or cross training is a good idea.  Weight training recommended by coach.

Practice for paddlers interested in competing in the 2007 sprint season will begin Sunday, June 3rd.

Paddlers that are 19+ will practice with our adult crews.  They have already began practice for the 2007 season on Saturdays at 8:00 AM.
