Race Jersey Update!!

Race season is quickly approaching.  Place your jersey orders ASAP!  There is a sign-up sheet in the container.  Payment is due immediately.  Checks payable to Hokuloa Outrigger can be put in the Dues Box.  Please note on check it is for the jersey order.

Long Sleeve Jerseys are $33.  Short Sleeve and Sleeveless are $27.

All paddlers intending to race must wear a Hokuloa jersey.  No jersey, no racey.

Race Jerseys

Aloha Paddlers,
It's been decided to use the same team jersey as last year...Royal blue w/yellow Hokuloa lettering on back & front.  Jersey orders will be going in soon, hopefully next week.  So, if you're a new paddler & need a jersey or you need a replacement or long sleeves maybe, please let me know ASAP. I will need the following info to complete your order:
1) Jersey size Women: XS - XL/Men: S-XXL
2) Jersey type: long sleeve, no sleeve. short sleeve, mens or womens
3) Quantity

Last year the cost was around $30 each...I will confirm the price once known (jersey & screenprinting).

There will be a sign-up sheet in the box this week or you can reply to this post on the forum.  For those paddlers that have already placed an order with me, no need to reply to this topic unless you have a change.

Gifts for Paddlers

Hapa | Hale has a few last minute gifts for your favorite paddler - a cool new jersey from 'Oiwi Ocean Gear, a great paddling snowman stocking and a limited edition Kialoa paddle. I would have loved the stocking but it looks like it was already snatched up.

Ocean Ohana Demo Day

Ocean Ohana will be having a demo day at Mothers Beach in Marina Del Rey on Sunday September 30th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Chris will have the following boats available for demo: Hurricane, Pegasus, Fuze, Fusion and Stingray 2. As well as the Huki S1-x Surfski made by Hurricane (Outrigger-zone) he may have a Tiger Built Pahoa there as well. In addition there will be paddles from Kialoa, Quickblade, Werner, Xylo,and Mudbrook.

The mobile store will be open for anyone needing off season items, they will have specials on paddles, clothing, hydration packs, etc. Specials are good at the Demo only.

Xcel Orders

We need a minimum of 10 pieces per style in order to qualify for the club discount. We're getting close on the padded boardshorts and not too far off with the Haleiwa Paddle Shorts (padded neoprene shorts) and caps. I've extended the date to our next Gen'l Mtg, which should be on May 15th. We are also checking with Ventura Outrigger to see if anyone in their club needs stuff.

If you interested in ordering, please sign up ASAP! If you have already ordered, please check that I have your correct order (see attached). If you have given me a check, I am not going to deposit checks until we have a firm order. Will keep you posted.

Don't forget to check your sizes. Xcel tends to run a little small. Sometimes you can find regular Xcel board shorts in surf shops to try on for size. Also, if there are any booths set up at the Crystal Pier Race this weekend, they often have XCel padded boardshorts that you can try on as well.

If you haven't signed up for your race jersey, please do it ASAP. The sheet is still posted in the box. Orders and payments will be due no later than Sat. 4/14! The prices for each jersey are listed at the top of the sheet, then add $10 per jersey for screenprinting, shipping & handling and taxes. Contact Pam if you have any questions.
