Hanohano Ocean Challenge

 

A great day for Hokuloa at the 2012 HanoHano Huki Ocean Challenge in San Diego yesterday! Congratulations to Kim (3rd Surfski long), Vaughn & Andrew (2nd OC2 long), Nadean & Sarah (3rd OC2 Long), and Wendy & Lenore (3rd OC2 short). Now is the time to think about adding Outrigger Paddling to YOUR activity list!

2011 Napali Challenge

A contingent from Hokuloa traveled to Kaua'i and paddled the 14th annual Napali Challenge on August 13th. 40 miles along what has to be one of the most beautiful coastlines on the planet. It was a blast!

Ventura Channel Challenge

On Saturday June 4th Hokuloa Outrigger Canoe Club will host our annual Ventura Channel challenge race.

Highlights

• Coffee, bagels and Spencer Makenzie’s breakfast burritos available at 7:00 am
• Breakfast burritos and lunch available from Spencer Makenzie’s Fish Company
• Silent auction/raffle, awards ceremony, beer garden by Ventura's Surf Brewery (open 1:00-4:00PM, ID required) & Hawaiian entertainers
• After Race Gathering with live music at Blackbeard’s BBQ, Ventura Harbor Village
• BBQ’s and dogs on leashes allowed on the beach. Alcohol not allowed.
• T-shirts, shopping and kid friendly activities available at the race.
